Arc 1: Chaos Pearl – Xie Xue Chen and Mu Xuan Ling
The drama starts with their second lifetime, as a spirit clan member and human. If the synopsis is accurate, this lifetime comes after their first love story, which has yet to be revealed to the viewers.
Ten thousand years ago, the Chaos Pearl fell to the mortal world following a divine conflict and was discovered by humans. Its immense power led Lord Qian Guang (played by Chen Mu Chi 陈牧驰) to the create the Immortal Alliance, composed of five sects: Xuan Tian, Mirage Palace, Osprey Island, Jade Sky Palace, and Snow City. Together, they used the Chaos Pearl to forge the Immortals Array, a barrier designed to imprison the Dark Clan within the Dark Abyss.
The Chaos Pearl, an ancient and powerful artifact, is closely guarded by the five sects and stored within the Pearl Tower of Snow City. To unlock the tower and release the pearl, five tokens held by the leaders of each sect are required, making its protection a shared responsibility among the alliance.
Sang Qi of the Dark Clan captures Xie Xue Chen and locks him up, hoping to extract the location of the tokens. To expedite the process, Mu Xuan Ling, the Saintess of the Dark Clan, steps in, attempting to gain his trust. However, upon seeing Xie Xue Chen, she realizes he is the person who saved her when she was young. While continuing her mission to secure his release, she begins devising her own plan to break away from the Dark Clan.
